OUR HISTORY
Dorset Digital Solutions (DDS) was founded in 2013 over pint or so in a pub. The soon to be directors Aaron and Barry wanted to combine their geek skills with their 25+ combined years of working in the hospitality trade to create a website design company that didn’t have the social awkwardness that is often seen in the I.T. industry. They also wanted a fresh new approach to dealing with clients which came in the form of being brutally honest and presenting factual information instead of selling products that the client may not need – which turned out to be a winning formula.
Since it’s conception DDS has gone from strength to strength.
By the end of our first year we had built over 40 websites and our client base was growing every day.
In 2015 we won Wessex FM’s Best Business in Weymouth & Portland Award and in 2016 we were finalists in the Dorset Echo’s Industry Awards for best customer service.
Since then things have only got bigger and better.
Although most jobs are handled in-house, we now also have freelance designers and developers all over the world to make sure your projects get the correct skillset they deserve.
